Apple Three Counties
A new variety of early bittersweet cider apple, Apple Three Counties was selected in the Long Ashton breeding programme. The fruit is medium-sized and green lightly streaked orange-red. The juice is sweet with low acidity and an astringent quality. Apple Three Counties is a vigorous tree with a good central leader habit; it comes early into bearing and is a reliable cropper. Spur-bearer, and a strong, healthy tree.
