Paniculate Hydrangea Silver Dollar
A compact form of this usually large hydrangea, Hydrangea paniculata Silver Dollar is a medium-sized, fast-growing, deciduous shrub with a fairly upright habit. The pointed, oval leaves are a rich, deep green. In August and September, huge conical panicles of pure white flowers appear, turning pinkish as they age. The shrub can be pruned back hard, to within a few buds of the woody framework. Paniculate hydrangea Silver Dollar holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
