Blue arrow Juniper
An excellent variety of the Rocky Mountain Juniper, Juniperus scopulorum Blue arrow is very similar to ‘Skyrocket’ but with a tighter, shorter, narrower growth habit. It’s an evergreen conifer, with grey-green to blue-grey scale-like leaves for adult foliage. The bark adds further colour which is red-brown and tends to shred. This juniper makes an ideal specimen plant in many situations, adding height to an alpine/heather bed or when used in a mixed border or gravel garden.
