Raspberry Malling Jewel
A justly popular variety of summer-fruiting raspberry, Raspberry Malling Jewel was bred at the famous East Malling Research Centre for fruit in Kent. The berries are medium-sized and deep red with a very good flavour. A compact grower, it’s a good choice for smaller gardens; plant two to each station. A reasonably good cropper, it is very reliable, and has the great virtue of being tolerant of virus infection. Holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
