Shrub Rose Madame Pierre Oger
A repeating Bourbon rose with exceptionally beautiful flowers, Rosa Mme Pierre Oger is a medium-sized, deciduous old shrub rose of average vigour, with an upright, slender habit and long, thorny, arching stems. The foliage is divided into slightly serrated, ovate leaflets, semi-glossy and mid-green. From midsummer to autumn, globular, fully double, chalice-shaped flowers, pale silvery-pink, with a strong, delicious, fruity Old Rose fragrance; the blooms are good for cutting. Shrub rose Mme Pierre Oger is moderately healthy, but has a tendency to blackspot – you may need to spray. It was a sport of the famous Bourbon rose La Reine Victoria.
