Rambler Rose Phyllis Bide
A beautiful, repeat-flowering rambler rose, Rosa Phyllis Bide is a medium-sized, well-behaved, rambling rose with long, almost thornless stems, which will need the support of a wall, large arch or pergola, or can be grown through a tree. The divided foliage has ovate, serrated, glossy, mid-green leaflets tinged with red. From July to September, the plant is smothered in abundant clusters of small, semi-double, soft yellow flowers strongly flushed apricot-pink and fading to cream with a pink blush; the fragrance is sweet, and of medium strength. Lovely in a cottage garden planting, rambler rose Phyllis Bide holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
