Ground-cover Rose Red Blanket
A repeat-flowering ground-cover rose as warm in colour as its name, Rosa Red Blanket is a low-growing, deciduous rose with a low, wide-spreading habit. The ample, persistent foliage has serrated, glossy, deep green leaflets. From midsummer into autumn, the rose bears large clusters of small, semi-double to almost single, deep red flowers with a paler eye; the fragrance is very slight. Ground-cover rose Red Blanket tolerates poorer soils and partial shade, and, with its ample, long-lasting, weed-suppressing foliage, is particularly good on banks and other difficult sites.
